MARGUERITE OLD, REMT

Marguerite has been practicing as a Registered Equine Massage Therapist since graduating from D’Arcy Lane Institute of Massage Therapy in 2009. Demonstrating a strong commitment to ongoing professional development, she earned a Certificate in Equine Science with Distinction from the University of Guelph in 2020.

Originally from Toronto, Ontario, Marguerite primarily works with Thoroughbreds at Woodbine Racetrack, while also supporting a wide range of sport and pleasure horses. She takes particular pride in her experience working with members of the Toronto Police Mounted Unit, contributing to the care and performance of these specialized equine partners.

Since 2009, Marguerite has been an active member of the International Federation of Registered Equine Massage Therapists (IFREMT) and currently holds the position of Director within the organization.

An enthusiastic equestrian, Marguerite has recently begun showing dressage with her Quarter Horse mare, Luna, and continues to value lifelong learning both in and out of the saddle.
