Karlie Drummond, REMT | Elevate Equine Massage Therapy

Karlie Drummond is the hands and heart behind Elevate Equine Massage Therapy. Her love for horses blossomed at a very young age, leading her to pursue a career devoted to their care. While the exact path was not immediately clear, discovering equine massage therapy allowed Karlie to merge her passion for horses with meaningful, hands-on support. 

After completing the rigorous two-year Equine Massage Therapy program at D’Arcy Lane Institute of Massage Therapy and passing the registration exams of the International Federation of Registered Equine Massage Therapists, Karlie established Elevate Equine Massage Therapy in 2023, serving the Greater Ottawa area. Her objective in every session is to enhance the horse’s performance, comfort, and overall mental and physical well-being. Karlie firmly believes that every horse deserves exceptional bodywork to help them move and feel their best. 

Since October 2024, Karlie Drummond has also taken on a role as an Equine Veterinary Assistant, working three days a week with Cranberry Creek Equine Veterinary Services. This position has provided her with invaluable experience and has broadened her hands-on knowledge of horses at all stages of life and health. 

Deeply passionate about equine wellness, Karlie is grateful for the opportunity to be an active and trusted member of each horse’s care team, ensuring they feel their absolute best!
