Karlie Drummond, REMT

 Karlie Drummond is the hands and heart behind Elevate Equine Massage Therapy. Her love for horses began at a very young age, and while she always knew she wanted a career working with them, it wasn’t immediately clear what that path would look like. Discovering equine massage therapy allowed her to combine her passion for horses with meaningful, hands-on care.

After completing the intensive two-year Equine Massage Therapy program at D’Arcy Lane Institute of Massage Therapy and successfully passing the International Federation of Registered Equine Massage Therapists’ registration exams, Karlie established Elevate Equine Massage Therapy in 2023. She services the Greater Ottawa area. Her goal in every session is to support the horse’s performance, comfort and overall mental and physical well-being. She believes every horse deserves bodywork that helps them move and feel their best.
 

Since October 2024, Karlie has also worked three days a week as an Equine Veterinary Assistant on the road with Cranberry Creek Equine Veterinary Services. This role has provided invaluable experience and greatly expanded her hands-on knowledge and understanding of horses across all stages of life and health.
 

Karlie is deeply passionate about helping horses feel their best and is grateful for the opportunity to be an active and trusted member of each horse’s care team!
