Equine Massage Therapy by Emilie Arthurs, REMT

Emilie Arthurs' entrepreneurial spirit and love for animals ignited at a young age when she started her first dog-walking business at just six or seven years old. As she grew older, she worked for a dog groomer to help cover the costs of owning and competing with her horse in eventing. Initially aspiring to become a veterinarian, Emilie discovered her true passion for equine massage after witnessing its benefits firsthand with her own horse.

To pursue this passion, she moved to London, Ontario, to attend the Equine Massage Therapy program at the D'Arcy Lane Institute of Massage Therapy, where she completed the intensive 2,200-hour program in 2018. Following graduation, Emilie became a registered equine massage therapist and joined the International Federation of Registered Equine Massage Therapists, currently serving on its Board of Directors.

In addition to her equine expertise, Emilie has several years of experience working in a small animal veterinary clinic and has earned multiple certifications in canine and feline care, including canine hydrotherapy, veterinary nutrition, and Fear Free practices. Now based in Nova Scotia, Emilie Arthurs travels throughout the province, providing massage therapy services for both equine and canine companions.
