Dylan McCormack is the proud owner of Dylan McCormack Equine Massage Therapy, based in St. John’s, Newfoundland. After graduating from triOS College, formerly known as D’Arcy Lane Institute of Massage Therapy, and successfully completing his International Federation of Registered Equine Massage Therapists board exams, he immediately opened his business in Nova Scotia and was practicing full time within six months. He now provides Registered Equine Massage Therapy services throughout Newfoundland, Nova Scotia, PEI and Northern New Brunswick, travelling extensively to support horses across Atlantic Canada.
Dylan takes pride in working collaboratively with a wide range of industry professionals, including veterinarians, farriers, chiropractors, osteopaths, saddle fitters and nutritionists. In 2023, he also worked as an FEI Dressage Groom in Wellington, Florida, an experience that further shaped his comprehensive, whole-horse approach to treatment. These partnerships and hands-on experiences strongly influence how Dylan assesses and treats each horse he works with.
Dylan’s path into equine massage therapy was driven by a clear need he witnessed firsthand. Growing up in a community where the nearest massage therapist was more than four hours away, he recognized the importance of accessible, professional bodywork services. This has become a defining part of Dylan’s career philosophy; no horse is too far. Dylan takes great pride in travelling long distances to ensure horses in need receive the care and support they deserve.
In his spare time, Dylan volunteers within the horse community, helping plan the Nova Scotia based Equestrian Canada Dressage show series and can often be found actively training and competing in dressage.
