Equine Bodywork Services by Brittany Cameron, REMT
I am the owner and operator of Eastern Equine Dynamics, an East Coast hub for equine bodywork and saddle fitting services. I graduated from D'Arcy Lane Institute of Massage Therapy in 2012 and have dedicated the last 14 years to serving the Maritime provinces as a full-time Registered Equine Massage Therapist (REMT). Recently, I have expanded my expertise to include saddle fitting services as a SMS Trainee saddle fitter. The extensive foundation I gained through years of practicing equine massage therapy is invaluable to my current work. My commitment to continuing education in equine therapy has taken me around the globe to study horse and rider biomechanics, kinesiology taping, veterinary modalities, hydrotherapies, and saddle fitting techniques. Each step of this journey has been an incredible joy.
In 2024, we welcomed Emily Marriot REMT to the Eastern Equine Dynamics team, which has allowed me to concentrate more on saddle fitting as I pursue my SMS QSF certification. Collaborating with exceptional veterinary and equine management teams, Emily and I blend our skills and experiences to support horses and riders from a comprehensive, whole-horse perspective. Together, we provide essential services including Kinesiology Taping, PEMF, Equine Massage Therapy, Canine Massage Therapy, Saddle Fitting, and valuable consultations for colleagues across the industry.
My personal life is enriched by two- and four-legged friends on our small hobby farm homestead in the Cobequid Mountains of Nova Scotia. With chickens, horses, donkeys, cats, and one perfect doggo, our little sanctuary is filled with love and as many naps as we can manage between running our business and maintaining the homestead!
